Discover how Bertazzoni’s DPL technology enhances your cooking experience by optimizing available power and intelligently managing energy during every stage of cooking.
The Dynamic Power Logic function in cookers with induction hobs and electric ovens intelligently manages the distribution of electrical power between the oven and the hob, ensuring flawless cooking even when both are used at the same time.
Thanks to advanced control algorithms and continuous energy monitoring, DPL automatically optimises power distribution between the oven and the hob, delivering consistently precise, reliable, and uninterrupted performance.
The system monitors in real time the power consumption of the oven and each individual zone of the induction hob, treated as independent operating units.
Cookware characteristics, such as the base diameter, are factored into the energy demand assessment, enabling optimal use of the available power. This continuous supervision ensures that each function receives exactly the energy it needs, delivering precise cooking results and maximum overall efficiency.
During the heating phase, the oven requires maximum power to quickly reach the set temperature; during cooking, consumption stabilises through controlled modulation cycles. When the oven’s demand exceeds the available power, Dynamic Power Logic temporarily reduces the power of one or more induction hob zones in favour of the oven.
In these circumstances, the letter “r” (reduction) appears on the display, indicating that power has been momentarily reallocated to the oven; energy is immediately restored as soon as the oven’s demand decreases. This distribution logic allows simultaneous use of the oven and hob without compromising performance.
